Here we are, up on the Treehouse Observation Deck. It's May 6th, 2006 and the wind is high. The sky is bright blue and the river channel is full. The maple tree above us is starting to leaf out. In another few weeks, the river will overflow the flood land on the other side, all the way to the far trees. Fishing Opener Weekend is May 13th !
